As Waimea Wastewater Treatment Plant approached its capacity of 300,000 gallons per day, ATA worked with the County of Kaua’i to develop a Facility Plan to evaluate the existing conditions of the wastewater treatment plant and also explore future expansion options.

In addition to providing the facility plan, ATA was involved in the preparation of engineering reports and the design of an effluent line to a point of reuse, an injection well, and monitoring as a backup for the effluent reuse. ATA served as the Construction Manager for this project, overseeing the construction of this design build project.
