Wailuku Well No. 2

The Wailuku Well No. 2 produces up to 2 million gallons of drinking water per day, supplying drinking water to the people of Wailuku and Kahului.

The project involved the construction of a Control Building and a 100,000-gallon Control Tank. Constructed with the intent of replacing the Wailuku Shaft 33, this project furthered DWS efforts to provide better distribution of groundwater withdrawal from the Iao Aquifer system.
