Hoʻopili is a 1,554-acre master planned Transit-Oriented Development that will ultimately include nearly 11,750 residential units, 4 million square feet of commercial and industrial space, 100 acres of parks, 175 acres of commercial farms and community gardens, and five (5) public schools. Unlike traditional “bedroom” communities, Hoʻopili has been designed with increased density and mixed use within walking distance to the two rail stations to reduce its dependence upon automobile transportation.

ATA’s transportation department prepared the Comprehensive Transportation Master Plan (CTMP), a comprehensive document for over 40 miles of transportation-related activities relevant to Hoʻopili, and continues to provide ongoing assistance to make this great community a reality.
