Ivan Nakatsuka, P.E., Senior Environmental Engineer

Ivan joined ATA in 1981 and has over 40 years of experience in engineering. As the company’s Chief Environmental Engineer, Ivan is ATA’s water and wastewater engineering expert and is regularly consulted on almost all projects requiring water or wastewater design.

Throughout the years, Ivan has been responsible for managing and designing a sizeable amount of water systems projects for the Department of Water Supply on Maui. He has also played an equally impressive role on the wastewater systems throughout Maui, Lanai, Kauai, and O‘ahu.

Ivan is well-known throughout the engineering community as he has been very active in AWWA and the WEF.  Ivan has received the George Warren Fuller Award commemorating the outstanding service he’s provided through the years to the water supply field.
