Garrett began working at ATA in 2003, right after graduating from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. Garrett is also ATA’s youngest board member.

As a Maui native, Garrett has been able to develop a strong connection to the County of Maui throughout the years; with some relationships stemming back to his childhood days. His project experience is broad as he has worked at both the ATA Honolulu and Maui offices during his career. Some of his clients include the State of Hawai‘i Department of Education, the Newport Hospital Corporation, the Dowling Company Inc., and the County of Maui Department of Public Works. Garrett specializes in commercial site development, roadway reconstruction, traffic signal design, and site rehabilitation projects.

As someone who is very meticulous and thoughtful in both his professional and personal life, it is not surprising that he enjoys golfing and working on home improvement projects. Some of his favorite ways to spend his free time is with his family and eating exotic foods.
