Eric Imada, P.E. Project Manager

Eric began as an intern at ATA in 2009 and upon graduation, joined the company as a full-time engineer in 2013. As a transportation engineer, Eric’s project experience includes traffic studies with a primary focus on evaluating the potential impacts of new developments on existing and projected traffic conditions. He currently oversees projects related to intersection improvements, improving the efficiency of traffic operations, traffic control plans, traffic signal optimization, and freeway management systems.

During his time at ATA, the list of clients he has served includes Queen Lili‘uokalani Trust, the City and County of Honolulu, and State of Hawai’i Department of Transportation.

Eric is involved in the engineering community through various professional organizations and also contributes to his local community through his involvement with the Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce and by serving on the Special Olympics Hawai‘i Young Executives board.  He enjoys spending time hunting, fishing, woodworking, backpacking, cars & motorcycles, investing, movies, hanging with friends & family and his dog Vito, and volunteering with professional organizations.
