Claire Fukuoka Tsuha, P.E., MBA Senior Project Manager

 

Claire has been with the ATA transportation section since 2011. Originally starting as an intern in the Maui Office, she joined the ATA Honolulu office upon graduating from the University of Portland. Claire’s project experience includes the transportation analysis reports, multimodal assessments, construction management plans, traffic calming assessments, and roadway master planning, with an emphasis on complete streets and multi-modal transportation assessments. Being committed to her profession and with an interest in multi-modal transportation, Claire once gave up her personal car as part of a 40-day challenge.

Throughout her time at ATA, Claire has served a variety of clients including D.R. Horton, the City and County of Honolulu, and private consultants such as Brown and Caldwell.

Claire is involved in the engineering community through various professional organizations and also contributes to the local community through her involvement with the Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce. During her free time, she enjoys hiking, houseplants, puzzles, and experimenting with new recipes.
