Chad Kadokawa, P.E. Project Manager

 

Chad joined ATA’s traffic section in 2017 and had over 4 years of experience in transportation engineering prior to joining ATA. Originally starting as an intern back in 2013, he eventually returned to ATA as a full-time transportation engineer. Although Chad’s primary experience is in the analysis and preparation of traffic-related reports, his role also includes traffic impact analysis reports, traffic management plans, traffic control plans, traffic signal design, signal timing optimization, ductline projects, and freeway management & ITS systems. Throughout his career, Chad has worked with clients such as the State of Hawai‘i Department of Transportation, the City and County of Honolulu, D.R. Horton, and the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transit (HART).

Chad is an active member of ITE and has served as one of the organization’s past Officers. Chad enjoys playing sports such as pickleball and basketball, and also enjoys traveling.
